Meet the Herba Family Chiropractic Center Team

Karen Fawcette

Karen FawcetteI first met Dr. Matt Herba at an Extreme Makeover and to be honest, I was completely overwhelmed…but also compelled at the same time. I knew there was something to all that, but I just couldn’t get it to make sense to me. Then, through a series of events -- and what I believe was truly divine intervention – I was offered the position of chiropractic assistant at HFC. When I started working with Dr. Herba I had absolutely no idea what chiropractic was all about. I just knew I needed to smile a lot and love on people and embrace what our office offered. So two out of three came easy enough . . . but after going to Maximized Living Seminars, attending all his advanced talks, meeting real people with real problems getting real results . . . I did embrace the chiropractic philosophy. And I believe whole-heartedly that the Power that created the body heals the body – that the body heals from above, down, inside, out. I love our office and that God is the boss here. I love that Dr. Herba takes that seriously – that God has given him a gift and he uses it as God’s steward. I love knowing that my family is healthier because of the adjustments we are getting. And I love knowing that we make a difference in people’s lives here. People really need that difference – it could mean life itself to some. It’s a powerful experience being here … but at the end of each day I am already planning for the lives that will be touched tomorrow. Who knows, it could be yours!

Matthew C. Shaw

Matthew ShawMatthew C. Shaw was born in Ft. Myers, FL. The last of five siblings, Matthew’s parents instilled in their children the importance of empowering the body to heal itself naturally. The Shaw household never had pain relievers or synthetic medications in its cabinets. Instead, there were a host of health-promoting foods and natural products. Matthew says, "I always knew I wanted to be a doctor, but I didn’t believe in prescribing medication. Chiropractic was the missing link." He has been a chiropractic assistant for about a year-and-a-half and looks forward to attending Life University in Atlanta, Ga.

Matthew is a senior at the University of Central Florida majoring in Micromolecular Biology with a minor in music. He is an avid reader who enjoys sports (basketball is his favorite), music and loves to eat. One of his favorite quotes is: When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others stiffen."

Tatiana Moyet

Tatiana Moyet"I never imagined a job position would change my life. When I was in need of a position, I asked the Lord to guide me to the right one. The very next day, I received a phone call to come in for an interview. I was amazed and pleased to find out that it was an office that believed in God and His healing power. Having a stressful family history of medical mistakes, I believed that there had to be a better way to health other than pills and surgery!

I was blessed to find Herba Family Chiropractic because I could finally say I wasn't alone. God knew what he was doing. God knew my heart and my desire to help people. After finding this job, I now have the knowledge and support to guide those who need a better option to health."
